NextVid Stopper for YouTube

NextVid Stopper for YouTube is a Chrome browser extension built with:

Chrome APIs
JavaScript

It was made to prevent YouTube from automatically progressing to the next video on playlist pages.

The extension icon in the browser bar can be clicked to toggle the autoplay function on/off without entirely disabling the extension.

The extension first checks if the URL of the page is a YouTube playlist, and it then inserts custom JavaScript on the page to alter YouTube’s existing scripts to prevent autoplay.
